Continuing Education Opportunities
In 2013, Holiday Health Care started the Southwest Indiana Health Services Academy (SWIHSA) to help shape the workers in our industry and to open an avenue of professional growth for our employees and the greater Evansville community.
SWIHSA hosts a CNA course in the Holiday administration building. Students learn direct patient care and how to assist with activities of daily living, ambulation, comfort, and safety measures. The CNA course is 18 days and includes classroom sessions and hands-on clinical experience in long-term care.
Grow your career with Holiday!
A CNA may be eligible for sponsorship for QMA certification after completing 100 hours of experience and 90 days of employment at a Holiday company. The QMA certification process is sponsored by Holiday and consists of approximately 100 hours of training in pharmacology and medication information.
