In 1969, the Dunigan family of Evansville, Indiana had a vision for a health services company that would meet the needs not only of the elderly and others who needed nursing care, but also provide living accommodations for those who were still independent and active. Holiday Health Care was born as a result of this vision, and exists today as a diverse health services company that includes home care and hospice companies, a retirement community, a nursing facility, and physician services all on one campus.
Today, over 50 years later, Holiday Health Care remains under the ownership and leadership of the Dunigan Family. For this reason, family values are embedded in every area of our company and, therefore, guide us in our provision of care.
