The Village - Management Team
Karen Kemper has been with Holiday Health Care Corporation since 1997. In her current position as Executive Director for The Village at Holiday, she oversees all programs and services at the assisted living facility. During her tenure, Karen has worked in a variety of roles at both the Village and the Heritage Center. These roles have included, Director of Support Services, Resident Care Coordinator, Social Services, office manager, marketing and admissions. Karen feels that working in both facilities has allowed her to better understand the needs of the residents and as a result, provide the highest quality services possible.
Abby Powell, LPN
Health Service Director
As Health Service Director, Abby assesses and communicates resident needs to families, physicians, home health agencies, therapy staff and Holiday’s resident care staff. Abby supervises resident care staff and companion sitters. She is proud to be part of such a wonderful team and to have the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Riannon Mabrey started her career as a Server in 2004, in 2012 became a Coordinator, and shortly after became the Office Manager. Despite working in different capacities at the Village one thing has remained the same, her commitment to customer service excellence.
Village Activity Director
As Activity Director, Abbie plans the daily activities and events at the Village. She has a true passion to help seniors thrive, and she’s thankful to have the opportunity to be a member of such a caring team. She now strives to provide residents with activities to help them enjoy life daily. Abbie graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations where she minored in Web Development. She believes life should be fun and Holiday Village should feel like home.
Holiday Health Care Corporation impressed Elizabeth from the beginning when she first worked at the Heritage Center in 1999. She has been with The Village since 2005 as Director of Housekeeping. Her strong sense of love and care for the residents and staff was and continues to be most evident.
Brenda Potts, CCC
A graduate of Vincennes University with an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts, Brenda has over 16 years of experience as a Cuisine Chef. She has been with The Village since 2004.
As head chef, Brenda oversees the daily preparation of our chef prepared meals in our fine dining room. She is a member of the Tri-State Chefs Club; Brenda helps with feeding the hungry children of the Tri-State. Her passion is preparing superb meals for our residents.
Director of Dining Room and Hospitality
Kayla has worked her entire professional career in fine dining. In 2008, Kayla started as a server here at Holiday Village. In 2014, she took the position of Assistant Dining Room Manager, and in 2016 she became the Director of Dining Room and Hospitality. She strives to give the residents the ultimate dining experience. She considers everyone here at the Village family. She has truly loved and cherished her tenure at the Village.
