Administrator

Vanessa is a licensed health facility administrator who has been in long term care since 2011. She received a bachelors in health services administration from the University of Southern Indiana in 2011. Vanessa has a passion for the geriatric population and enjoys working with the clinical team in long term care. She started with Holiday Healthcare in 2016.Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending lots of time with her husband and daughter, along with all of her family and friends.

Courtney Dile, R.N

Director of Nursing

Courtney graduated from USI in 2010 with her Bachelors in Health Administration and in 2011 with her BSN. She has worked in long term care for 10 years, beginning as a CNA. Courtney fell in love with long term care while working as a CNA. She knew that this is what she wanted to spend her life doing. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, running, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Assistant Director of Nursing

Cindy is the Assistant Director of Nursing and Compliance Director with over 40 years of service at The Heritage Center. She is familiar with every unit in our facility and assesses each resident prior to admission for appropriate nursing/unit placement and care.

Marina Tieken, LPN

Director of Staff Development

Marina directs the application process, interviewing, hiring, training and orientation of all staff. In addition, she serves as an instructor for the following: Certified Nursing Assistant, Dining Assistant, TB, and AHA BLS. She also handles certificate programs for our licensed professionals.

Emily Vaughn

Social Services Director

Emily is an Evansville native who graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and again in 2012 with a Master’s in Social Work. She has worked in long term care for four years. She and her husband have a son named Adam. She enjoys being outside, working out/running, and loves anything Marvel.

Sally Albin, AD

Sally Albin, AD

Bridges Activity Director

Sally leads our Bridges Department, which encompasses Activities, Spiritual Care, Transportation Services, and Heritage Volunteers. She has been with Heritage for 5 years, utilizing her Certification in Activities and Purdue BS in Technical Writing to serve the Heritage residents. Her goal is to make sure that each resident finds joy in their day-to-day activities, and her motto is “love them like they’re family!”

David Bretz

David Bretz

Facilities Director

David has worked for The Heritage Center since 1999. He is responsible for all aspects of facility care, maintenance, and compliance. David oversees a staff which serves the entire Holiday Health Care campus. He retired as the Fire Chief for the German Township Fire Department where he was highly trained and experienced in all aspects of disaster preparedness and response.

Food Services Director

Mary is a Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Protection Professional, having obtained her CDM CFPP through the University of Southern Indiana in 1993. She has worked in long term care since 1989, starting as part time dish washer at a local facility and advancing to cooking and eventually management. Mary is very active in the ANFP (Association of Food Service Professionals) serving as chapter president in 2010 and 2015.

Brandi Burch

Brandi Burch

Environmental Services Director

Brandi started at Holiday Health Care in February 1995, working in the kitchen for 12 years and then as a floor maintenance tech for the Heritage Center and The Village for 7 years. She received an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Ivy Tech Community College in 2013 and has worked as a Confinement Officer for the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office. Brandi enjoys life with her fiancé, Adam, and their two cats, Rosa and Pete.

Gwynna Lockhart, RN, Unit Director

Gwynna Lockhart, RN, Unit Director

Gwynna is the unit director for the Horizons Rehabilitation Unit. She has extensive background in long term care and rehabilitation. She is focused on providing excellence in care for both long term residents and short term rehabilitation patients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Jessica Carr, RN, Unit Director

Jessica Carr, RN, Unit Director

Jessica has worked in the healthcare field for 10 years, starting as a phlebotomist in the lab with experience in acute hospital care, open heart recovery, and long-term care experience. She also has experience as a wound nurse and infection prevention. Jessica is devoted to providing safe and compassionate care to residents. She enjoys reading, travel, and nature.
